| World famous Indian actor, Amitabh Bachchan,
has recently stayed at the hotel “Indian Resort”,
on the south west coast of Mauritius.
Coming from the launching of the film “Dil Jo
Bhi Kahey”, (what the heart says), he was offered
a souvenir of the paradise island from Diane Cros, in
charge of the Apavou chain of Hotels and Saheed Eyasim,
who works with the Indian market through the offices
in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
Radio animator at the beginning of his career, Amitabh
Bachchan, very quickly, conquered the platform of “Bollywood”,
the Indian cinema industry, with his charisma and soft
voice.
In a poll carried out by the British television BBC,
he was recently elected as the “the British’s
favourite actor”, outshining renown actors such
as Charlie Chaplin, Sir Lawrence Olivier and Marlon
Brando!
He is the first Asian actor to be honoured to have
his statue in the famous London museum, Madame “Tusseaud”.
